YJ in Nikkan Sports - 29 Dec

Today, a Japanse newspaper – Nikkan Sports is carrying a full page advertisement on YJ, about his new lipstick and lip gloss. Part of the profit will be donated to a Japanese Committee “Vaccines for the world’s children”.

YJ is such a nice person, always with a soft spot for children. Have seen his numerous photos, smiling cheerfully whenever he’s together with kids.

Unfortunately, Nikkan Sports is not available locally. I’ve tried calling up a few bookstores and newsstands but with no success. One kind receptionist asked me if it is about an artist appearing in full page, apparently she read it in the newspapers. Got a strange feeling she might be one of the baesisters too. Was actually hoping to get the 1 Jan 07 copy, heard that there would be a compilation or something in that issue. Too bad :( Guess now just have to rely on dear Japanese sisters to furnish us with the latest news then.

Flower (guess she's a sister from Taiwan) posted a short video clip from Asia Tour 2005 on KOB, showing YJ peeling off mangostine and offering to his staff, such a sweet gentleman act. Discussions started when we wondered if he did try durian !?

I think YJ loves to try on local fruits. Here are some examples.

On SBS morning live broadcast, "Good Morning, special entertainment", Yong Joon's interview in Jeju during the Hanryu Expo Ceremony was aired.

Q: Did you miss your fans?
B: Yes, I miss them a lot. I would like to greet them through my next project real soon. (he was wiping his sweat with a handkerchief.)

Q: It's over now(the expo opening ceremony), how do you feel?
B: Oh, I feel a little emptiness. If I can sing, I would've sung a song...

Q: How do you feel about attending the expo?
B: I hope it doesn't end here, hopefully there will be the 2nd and the 3rd, possibly in China(he may implied all Chinese speaking countries or Japan)

Q: Please say "fighting!" once?
B: FIGHITING!!!

He had a big smile on his face. He entered the elevator and waved at the camera.

Here are the new photos at Lotte DFS. YJ's style is very different from previous, he's more relax and spontaneous, and I just like him in whatever ways.

BYJ attending Hallyu Expo

The D-day is finally here, on 29 Nov. YJ attended the Hallyu Expo in Jeju Island. Lots of photos were published by news agents as well as Baesisters.

Among them, this is my favorite. YJ was trying to silence family members on site, but it took q good 10 minutes for things to settle down though.

YJ's waving to some 2000 family members present. Luv the way he's tied up his hair to a ponnytail. Feels like pulling it.

The event was outdoor and wind must be strong that day. YJ was seen trying hard to sweep his air away from his face. Such a cute gesture.


YJ is indeed natural star among the crowd.

My CLEA magazine

Ever since the publish of CREA magazine (December edition) featuring YJ as cover page, I was so looking forward to own one. From sources of information, this would be sold in the local Japanese bookstore, Kinokuniya. I sent an email enquiry to them, and the reply came next day. They were unable to take order as they were yet to receive the magazine. However, they were expecting stock to reach their Main Store on 08 11 06 or 10 11 06 (air shipment) and 24 11 06 or 01 12 06 (sea shipment). Prices were also provided, S$15.50 for air shipment while S$14.30 for the sea shipment. How professional !

Then on 7 Nov, some of the Japanese Baesisters already bought their copy and YJ’s wonderful pictures were quickly posted all over Baeland. Soon the magazine was sold out on amozon.jp. Looking at the amazing response, I decided to call the store directly. A nice saleslady told me that the shipment would only came in the next day afternoon and on sale starting 3pm. Although she can’t reserve the magazine for me then, she was so kind to help me place an order at another branch. So grateful to her fantastic service.

The next day, I called the new branch and confirmed that my reservation is ready for collection. I waited another day and got a chance to rush down to town during lunch time for the collection. Still remembered clearly the counter salesgirl was giving me that “oh I see” look while handling over my copy of CREA. And I was so happy for the rest of the day ! I can now look at YJ’s photo everyday.

11 Nov, today is the opening of Super Star Photo Exhibition by Leslie Kee in Tokyo. YJ is one of many famous Asian artists featured. Believe these are photos collected in Leslie's photo book.

Finally, the long waited CREA-12 is out today, and YJ has proven it yet again - he is wonderfully gorgeous. Baesisters are all going oh, ah, or simply speechless...

New photo of Damdeok

Finally, some pictures of young prince, Damdeok. Heard YJ fell down from the horse while filming, hope nothing serious... There seemed to be endless shootings riding on horse back, really wish he takes care and everything would be smooth sailing.

YJ arrives in Jeju again

On 19 Oct 06, YJ arrived in Jeju again. This time round he'll be staying for a longer period. Accordingly, filming will be on going until end of Oct.
